Flat River Academy is proud to connect with First Robotics and offer a First Tech Challenge Robotics Team for students in 6th-8th grade and First Lego League for students in 4th-5th grade.  

 

FIRST Tech Challenge students learn to think like engineers. Teams design, build, and code robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. Robots are built from a reusable platform, powered by Android technology, and can be coded using a variety of levels of Java-based programming.

FIRST Lego League students learn to work together to design and code special Legos called Spike Prime.  Teams are given a set of "missions" to complete and must design and program a Lego robot to complete as many missions as possible in a given set of time.  Check out our journey on our Facebook Group.
